So hopefully everyone has been through all the teething problems and found your way both to this blog and into the Discourse. If you are here and not Discourse please check that you have accepted the original invitation and give the organisers time to then allocate you to your registered courses/workshops. The spaces we are using Ghost and Discourse are new to both of us as well as yourselves and picking up on another thread elsewhere on Discourse neither of us have any kind of admin status. It was not our choice for example to disable comments on the blog or limit the number of paragraphs in the Discourse threads. These decisions or limitations would be worth a discussion in their own rights. We can set aside some time in the session to discuss communication and whether there is a different way to continue through the rest of the week. For example, we could post links to posts written on your own private blogs.

We enjoyed reading your introductions so far and fingers crossed the technology behaves itself for the live session. Sean has sent us this link to share with you all to register for the slot:

There will be no pressure to turn on camera, turn on mic or even contribute live. You are free to listen and reflect. We will collate the outputs of our discussions/activities in external spaces so they are captured and can continue across the week and link to these from the blog.

You all have our email addresses but we can also can be found on Twitter as @slowtech2000 and @hey_km
